Home Sweet Home

Oh goodness it's great to be home! I was out of town this past week and even though I returned to a cold, overcast, rainy Seattle, I sure was glad to return to the place I call home. I had a lovely trip out of town with stops in New Mexico and Upstate New York. Both destinations were lovely, with warm, sunny, not-too-hot-weather, and it was nice to visit with the family in both locations, but at the end of the day I knew where my home truly was.

As I sat on the shuttle from Downtown and looked out at "my city," I realized how much I would miss if I had to move for some reason. It was the little things, but they were the important things that made me realize on that shuttle that I've grown some roots in this place and they are here to stay.

I truly have missed chatting with you via the blog and have some new posts on their way!
